Hey guys , it seems very strange to me that rods are given a PE rating when as far as I know PE is an exact diameter rating to get precise capacities for fishing reels.... My point is that PE3 for example could be anything from 30lb to 60lb line, so how could a rod be rated as PE3 to PE4? I have worked in the tackle industry for many years, and most things make sense , but this appears to be stupid.... Anyone else think the same, or does anyone have a logical answer.... Cheers
