Hey guys, so just in case any of you missed the post yesterday, heres the teaser video for my next song Infinitum. Im really proud and excited to show you. Theres been so much going on in my life and in my mind lately. Ive been struggling with the most violent wave of anxiety Ive ever been hit with in my entire life and, as expected, this has translated into my music in the form of a pretty heavy-duty writers block. As I go through this, I feel like Ive been maturing as a producer but have equally digressed in terms of what I want from myself with all of this. Basically my technical skills have been getting better and better, but Ive been becoming increasingly distant with myself and with the identity I once thought I so desperately wanted. Im still in the middle of giving myself enough space and time to properly formulate my aspirations and then explore them through this medium. The goals I had in mind when I initially set out on this project have already been achieved (I didnt expect them to happen so fast, or at all if Im going to be completely honest), and this is a large part of why Ive seemed so confused and lost lately. This year was probably the most fundamental and best of my life (up to the time of this post, hopefully):: I turned 18 in May, graduated High School a week later, got noticed by my absolute biggest inspirations the next month, signed a huge contract for my Sea Of Voices remix a month after that (news on that real soon, release is earlyish next year), hung out with Porter Robinson in August, prepared a cool liveshow kind of thing during September, and performed that show on either coast of the United States with my biggest inspiration in October. It was an incredible year and it threw me through a lot of unexpected mental tests and changes. So all of that being said, Ive been giving myself a tough time these past few months. Im trying to really figure out what I want to do with all of this, but Im getting through it. and Im so glad you guys have been right there with me.
