Info and links to buy tickets below. _________________________ The Muslim Medical Association of Canada (MMAC) is excited to present the MMAC Ummah Banquet on Saturday, March 22nd, 2014. We hope you will join us for this elegant evening of networking and fundraising highlighted by our lineup of dynamic Muslim physician speakers, a presentation on the MMACs activities and how you can get involved with the MMAC along with organized networking activities. All are welcome to the event, from independently practicing physicians of all ages, to other allied health professionals, to residents/fellows and medical students. For the first time we are also opening a limited number of tickets to undergraduate students to help promote networking in our ummah and provide aid to our more junior brothers and sisters currently hoping to get into our medical training system. Date and Time: Saturday, March 22nd at 6:00pm. Location: Natraj Banquet Hall, Mississauga, ON natrajbanquethall/ Speakers: -Dr. Shariq Haider, Infectious Diseases specialist and Internal Medicine Program Director, McMaster University -Dr. Fariha Khan, Family Physician -Dr. Dalal Dahrouj, Anesthesia Resident, Western University A review of MMACs activities will be presented and networking activities will also be organized including an opportunity to sign up for our Mentorship Program. A halal buffet style dinner will be served along with dessert and refreshments.
