Hey guys the UCSC CSL League of Legends team is officially holding - TopicsExpress

Hey guys the UCSC CSL League of Legends team is officially holding try outs for our Division 1 and 2 teams! The Division 1 team will consist of focused players that will (hopefully) be the best players in our school and be able to compete against other top collegiate teams with the goal of competing at the North American Collegiate Championship. The team will be practicing a few times of a week and will play a CSL series at the end of almost every week at 12pm Saturday. It is vital that players on this team must be available for the CSL series every week and consistently show up to practice. The Division 2 team will consist of more casual players but will retain a competitive atmosphere. Essentially, more fun is allowed on the Division 2 team. Currently 1 starter spot (Mid) is open for the Division 2 team, and 3 starter spots (Support, Top, Jungle) are open for the Division 1 team. Positions can be changed later, if we must, but these are the positions were currently looking for. Also remember were looking for 5 subs for both the Division 1 and 2 teams! These players will be called upon whenever a starter cannot make practice or make CSL because of a one off occurrence and even become a starter if one of the original starters wishes to leave or is no longer suitable for the position. Players for the Division 2 team should essentially play League of Legends at a high level and be competitive, but gel well with the team. The players on the team now are low Diamond and a Platinum 3. Players for the Division 1 team should play League of Legends at a high level (high Platinum-Challenger) be focused, have time for diligent practice, and have a drive to beat other teams. These players will also be expected to play to and follow the meta, along with take criticism, have good communication skills, etc... Shot callers are also appreciated. Also keep in mind that competitive 5s play is very different than solo queue so just being a high level in solo queue does not net you a position. If you think you have what it takes PM me your: IGN, Rank, Main Position, what Division you want to be in, and what you think you bring to the team. From there we will have practice with the players and make decisions on who would be best suited for each individual team. Good Luck and I hope some of you guys are willing to represent your school on the CSL team! If you know of somebody that is not part of this Facebook group that you think would want to play on the team make sure you let that person know!
