Hey guys, we need your help please :-) Looking for a 2-bedroom apartment with garden or balony We just recently moved to beautiful Norway from Germany and currently live in a flat with a contract ending in September. We are now looking for a nice flat to rent more permanently, to be able to settle down and enjoy life in Oslo. Who we are: Dirk Linke – age 41, Associate Professor for microbiology at the University of Oslo (permanent employment). Manuela Thoma – age 28, PhD student in German language and history. Scott and Sunny – two lovely cats who would love to explore Norway on their own, provided they have access to a garden We take Norwegian classes to learn the language as fast as possible What we are looking for: A quiet, large flat with at least 2 bedrooms and a kitchen that ideally has all facilities (fridge, oven, dishwasher?), a terrace, balcony or garden, ideally on ground floor. We are hoping for something larger than 60 m2, and would appreciate a second bedroom for guests and for office space. We would otherwise mostly bring our own furniture, and are thus not looking for a fully furnished flat. A flat relatively close to the city center and/or to the Blindern campus would be perfect, but something with good public transport connections is also fine. We love to be out in the green, to go hiking for example, or for a barbecue. Thus, close distance or good connections to parks or to Nordmarka would be a plus. We would prefer to rent for a long time as we are not planning to move again anytime soon, so short-term rentals or summer rentals are not an option for us. If you have a beautiful flat or (part of a) house to rent out, and would like to have us as possible tenants, we would very much appreciate a short message.
