Hey guys weve been very busy the past few weeks and have some really exciting things for you! Purdue Convocations has recruited the Outing Clubs help to host the first official mountain biking race! It will be held April 19th at Haan trail. The race will have multiple divisions with different skill levels. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners (which means for those of you guys on the trails everyday you have a pretty good shot at winning a cash prize). This all day event will feature giveaways and prizes from both local and national sponsors. Participation is open to anyone 18 years or older with 4 different divisions available. All participants entering a college division must present valid student IDs at check in. The location of the event is 920 E State Street in Lafayette, IN 47905. The website for registration is: conf.purdue.edu/mbc When you go to register there should be a box to check if you are affiliated with the Purdue Outing Club. If you check that box a portion of your race fees will go to the Outing Club which will be used for new equipment and to help spread the mountain biking community.
