Hey, its MK21. Recently, an active US Army soldier, SSG Richard Cripps told us his story. If you have time, please read this and even donate. Hello, My name is SSG Richard Cripps I am an active duty soldier in the Army and have been for almost 14 years. Currently stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington state just south of Seattle. I am also an Eagles fan as i had grown up in Bucks County PA (it is difficult living here among all these Seahawk fans as a majority of them are fare weather fans since the 2012 season). Anyway my wife and I have been in a long process of adopting 3 children (our nieces and nephew, ages 13,12,8) from the Philippines for a few years now. We have exhausted a lot of our savings in travel expenses and legal fees and financial support for the children as they are being raised by their grandmother because their parents abandoned them 7 years ago. I just returned from attending an adoption hearing with the local courts there to determine if we qualify as adoptive parents. The motion for adoption was granted. I have already begun raising the kids to be Eagles fans, although they dont quite understand the game, they will when they move with us to the U.S. My sister who lives in Perkasie, PA started a GoFundMe fundraiser to help my wife and I raise the funds we will need for upcoming expenses for the children such as visas, passports, and airfares. People dont have to necessarily donate although that is the ultimate goal, but just them sharing the link will boost our story on the the sites main page.
