Hey peppers... check out this call for young actors! Triad Stage is looking for two boys to complete the cast of A Christmas Carol at Hanesbrands Theatre in Winston-Salem. We are looking to fill the roles of Tiny Tim (ages 6-7) and Young Scrooge (ages 11-12). Both are significant roles and play various other characters throughout the play including a children chorus that acts as the narrators for the play. No prior theatre experience is required but is always helpful. This is a great opportunity for kids who love the theatre or are interested in gaining more experience. Rehearsals begin November 14 with performances beginning on December 10 and running through December 22. We rehearse six days a week but mostly in the evening so the kids will not have to miss school until tech and for some student matinees during the run. But most of those are just half days they would miss. Rehearsals will be held in Greensboro at the Pyrle Theater and then move to the Hanesbrands Theatre for technical rehearsals and performances.
