Hey photographer friends! I need some advice and opinions. I can never find the right bag/camera strap/carrying system. And maybe thats just how it is… I know all of us have 20 unused bags in the closet trying to find the right one. Heres the issue: Im small (410), and camera-carrying equipment wasnt particularly made for me. Ive tried the rapid strap for women which didnt fit my chest right and always got tangled. Ive tried carrying just a giant Kelly Moore camera bag around, but its the size of my entire torso and I get exhausted and its cumbersome. Recently we purchased Spider Holsters which I wore yesterday, but my hips arent wide or large enough to fit the holster on the smallest side, so they ride very very low and bounce around, and about halfway through the day I developed an excruciating pinched nerve in my lower back which has never happened before. Im getting kind of frustrated and feel like Ive completely run out of systems save for employing a donkey of some sort to carry around all my stuff with a little monkey on top who can change lenses quickly. Does anyone have any other systems that they think might be useful? Id love to hear them!
