Hey poetry Club members, This message is for all of those that wasnt able to attend the meeting Thursday (October 31) Location F-201. For all members we have two advisors, Tom Lavazzi and Joseph Terry. For our upcoming events we will have a Poetry slam and a open house. For poetry slam it will be on a Monday 5-6:30pm and for the Open House it will be on a Thursday 3-4:30pm Refreshments will be served after. I will update you on the dates because as of now I havent establish the dates yet but I am informing you now of the day of the week and times. In our poetry slam I am in the process of getting a few street poets from street poets den as our guest and they will be the judges. I will update you on Dates and times for audition for the Poetry Slam as of now I cant provide that information. Starting this Wednesday (Nov. 6) from 2:00-3:00pm Jared Green our Vice President will take the time to meet members of the club and provide them with information you couldnt get because you missed our meetings and he will have workshops for all that wants to improve their writing skills :) Location will be in the Hall of Flags, right above the cafeteria. I handed out Antheons art book and discuss on how to submit your art and poetry to Antheon. Have your voice heard submit your work to Antheon our school publishers. Submit your work at Submissions@antheon. I promise you wont regret it. Make sure you include your first name, last name, contact info such as email address and phone number on Microsoft word document. With all of that being said our next meeting will be on Thursday (Nov. 14) 300:pm -4:00pm located in F-201. Hope to see everyone there ! :) Kimberly.
