Hey, thanks for the add. Quick question. Ive had this guy (or girl?) for almost two weeks. I noticed the other day that he/she has started to get some black on his body, mostly in the face. Is this what you call a beard? Is this stress related or an indication that is (s)he is ready to breed, or something else altogether? It was a beautiful fish at first, but this color change is starting to disturb me... Thoughts? On a related note, I had to do an emergency tank change the other day. Long story, but I went from a 29 gallon to a 46, so theres a lot of new water, not to mention that the tank is still in its initial cycling phase.
