Heres what Gabrielle knows: Shes a 3-4 month old Labrador puppy who was rescued from a breeder. Well, actually, she was picked up from a local vet by a couple, when Gaby came in with very little life in her. Shed been beaten on the head with a stick by her marvelously human breeder, because she and the other puppies in her litter were fighting over food. She was in a coma for a couple of days, under intensive care with Cessna Lifeline, before she woke up and decided to give life another go. Shes now in a great foster home, fattening up and resting before she gets vaccinated and, eventually, spayed. Gaby loves the company of dogs and also of humans - a shockingly common thing amongst abused dogs. Were looking for the kind of family who will continue to prove to Gaby that all humans are not, in fact, abusive, self-serving creatures.
