Hey there service-connected brethern. I had another incident recently where I enoucntered a gentleman publicly that dropped the usual claims of Special Forces (Army) and what not. When I asked about his units/teams (he had didnt know I was an Army vet) he gave me some serious hooplah. -listed a Basic Training Unit/Battalion -then he listed an MI Battalion -he listed the incorrect location on his supposed unit (SF Team) -claimed to be an Army Ranger but couldnt tell me what Ranger Battalion (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) he served with or when he got tabbed -hes my age 36-37 yrs old but served in Desert Storm with valor (would have been 13-14 yrs old at the time) **I dont know how the really hardened vets (like Don Shipley) do this day to day without going nuts. PLEASE STOP. There are veterans out there who have done incredible things for their country. you are not one of them and you tarnish the memory of those who gave a portion of their lives defending something**.
