Hey, yall, if youre fans of Nicki or Young Money in general or even if youre not and whether or not youve seen this video or have any intention of seeing this video, please consider that virtually every shot and frame can directly correlate to the infamous Nazi propaganda piece Triumph des Willens (or, as you may know it, Triumph of the Will) with its aesthetic, framing and imagery (starting literally from the first frame). Fortunately, Ive seen a lot of Jewish outrage and goyim support for how blatantly and obviously unacceptable this is, but Ive also seen a lot of diversion/excuse for the content of this video, claiming that its an artistic choice or a subversion or a satire and more than that Ive just seen passive praise in news articles and fan shares. If this offends you (like it should) or hurts you (like it ought to), please, please consider commenting on the video/on the social media accounts for Nicki, Drake and Lil Wayne as well as the director of the video, Jeff Osborne, voicing your opinion and requesting that they address their actions and their fanbase that knows the deep, deep wounds of fascism. Also consider actively liking/supporting/retweeting existing comments critiquing this video to show that these arent isolated incidents of offense. Nicki Minaj has historically been very receptive to the concerns of her fanbase and has made the conscious effort to reflect these concerns in her behaviors; please let her and the rest of Young Money know how much this hurts.
