Hey, you know whats fun? When you struggle to carry too much in from the car at once and of all things to drop, it happens to be the gallon of milk that you just bought that you needed for lunch and it splits wide open completely down the side, gushing milk all over your steps and you cant stop it from gushing cuz your hands are full from carrying in the 300 coats and sweatshirts that you had to bring to the 9am soccer game in Lynn because its 36 degrees when you leave then its 70 degrees when you get home, so you need to use a hose to wash the milk away but unfortunately you havent had time to hook up the hose for the front of the house yet so you have to go find that hose in your cluttered barn and it means moving some stuff around to get to the hose cuz you havent had time to clean that barn all summer but its a good thing to get the hose out anyway cuz you need it to water the two ornamental grasses that you bought three weeks ago that you havent had time to plant yet that are still sitting in pots in the driveway but the hose will also help you when you finally get to buying those fall mums that youve been meaning to buy that you have imagined will look oh so nice alongside those grasses and make the front of the house look pretty and seasonal instead of looking neglected and full of weeds that have overtaken the flowerbeds where the summer flowers should have been if you ever had the time to plant those so its actually a blessing that you dropped the milk but sadly theres still no time to plant again today cuz after lunch youre off to flag football for the second of your kids 4 sport commitments of the weekend where you will spend most of your time laughing about all of this on the sidelines with the other parents that are going through the same struggles as you are and you also joke about how much time you waste on Facebook typing up something like this but who knows, maybe itll make someone smile and it makes you realize that the moral of the story is theres really no use crying over spilled milk when its much better to laugh about it. ;-)
