Hey you... yep, Im talking to you! :) Are you looking for a way to contribute to your community? Consider joining the Planning Commission. Heres your chance! 3 positions open, one can be from outside Vernonia city limits, two from within city limits. Our meetings are the first and third Thursdays each month at 6:00 p.m. - less if there are not items to be addressed. Come on down this Thursday and see if this is something that you would be interested in participating in! Please submit your application to Joann at Vernonia City Hall. The application is available on line at vernonia-or.gov/services/forms.asp or you can pick one up at City Hall. Our next meeting is this Thursday, March 20. In addition to our regular meeting, we will be also thanking Dan Brown for his 18 years of serving on the Planning Commission.
