† He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands † The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. Acts 17:24–25 ESV When I was growing up we used to sing: He’s got the whole world in His hands, and I believed it. I could just picture God’s huge hands holding the world. Then I grew up, got a job and as life started happening to me, I slowly lost focus of this. Careers, problems, and bills grew bigger and bigger. The hands of God looked smaller and smaller. Before long I could not even see Him. God’s hand had not changed. My outlook had. He still has the whole world in His hands. The breath of air that you just breathed in came from Him. He provided it for you and though you cannot even see it, you would die without it. Do not lose site of God’s hand. He still has the whole world in His hands. The problem you are facing may look big in your hand, but it is not even noticeable in his. Give it to Him.
