Hi A.C.E. members, We hope that you all enjoyed that long weekend we had last week. Sadly, we did not meet for two weeks during our regular meeting times (except for that Tuesday on a Friday schedule - thank you for those who came anyway!). We missed seeing your lovely faces, er, basked in the eerie light of the projector screen, for two whole weeks. Anyway, heres the rundown for this weeks movie and other announcements: First, we are once again meeting at 4:30pm back in the original room, Hunter West 603. Thats the big classroom near the elevators that are under construction. We apologize for the crazy changes, but this should be final. We are 99.99% certain - at least it keeps us all on our toes, right?! Next, we are watching a Korean movie this week called As One. Based on true events, the movie is set in 1991, a retelling of the first ever post-war Unified Korea sports team to participate in the 41st World Table Tennis Championships held in Chiba, Japan. The sports team was made of both North Korean citizens as well as South Korean. Cue high tension! Drama! Watch as the table tennis team pours their blood, sweat and tears into bringing home the gold in this inspirational film! ...Did we mention the movie stars Ha Ji-Won (Secret Garden) and Bae Doona (Cloud Atlas)?
