Hi AASCF Dance Coaches, Looking for that edge to push your dance team to the next level? At AASCF, we try to ensure that we provide our dance coaches with the most up to date and important resources and information to successfully lead your team throughout the year. We are therefore proud to announce that we have been working very hard to get the Head of Dance for the IASF/ICU, Liz Rifino, to Melbourne, Australia to assist our hard working dance coaches to conduct a comprehensive dance seminar. Originally she was attending 3 states but unfortunately her tight schedule did not allow this, as such it will only be in Melbourne. Her schedule is extremely tight, but Liz is keen to assist all the dance teams who have impressed her after many years seeing their progress at AASCF Nationals as one of our Head Dance Judges. What the judges look for and the score card Breaking Down Turns and Leaps Hip Hop , Pom and Jazz technique Cleaning and perfecting a routine Drills for Building Technique Understanding the USASF dance rules On Sunday 1st June, liz Rifino will conduct a full days seminar – from 9am to 6.30pm: Ø Where – Melbourne CDB, Victoria (venue TBC, depending on numbers) Ø When – Sunday 1st June, plus optional Saturday 31st May evening, meet and greet and dinner (additional cost). Ø Cost - $150 Ø Venue - TBC when we have approximate numbers as this will determine if we need seating for 20 or 200. It will be in Melbourne’s CDB.
