Hi All! Before the High Holidays overwhelm everything - and since people may want to have some Emek-run events during that time-period - weve decided to last-minute-organize an organizational meeting, to be held Monday 9/22 from 6:30 to 8:30 at The Roost in Northampton. A good organizational meeting balances having a small number of people making decisions (think of the efficiency of a dictatorship) while taking into account the needs and desires off all of a groups constituents (like the unassailable fairness of The Voice). So. If you are very interested in being actively involved in the planning and organization of Emek this year, please come to The Roost tomorrow night a little before 6:30 so you can grab some food and drink and join us at a nice big table to have a productive discussion about how best to serve the Young-Jewish community of the upper-pioneer valley (and Holyoke, and maybe some Springfielders).
