Hi All, Can I ask your help... for a bit of fun!? Those of you who know me, or hang around here at Starts at 60 know I love a good cause... and tonight I have set up a petition to get some of todays pop stars that kids love to use their skills for kids maths skills everywhere. (I know, not really relevant to over 60s, but hopefully loads of you have grandies struggling with times tables and can empathise with me). I caught Miss 9 the other day singing Katy Perrys song word for word, and Redfoos New Thang, just days old, but she as yet cant manage to remember her times tables (Because they arent as fun mum she says) so I had a brainwave... Why not get the best popstars to sing maths songs, just once, for a great cause - making maths cool! Sign my petition to encourage my kids favourite popstars to sing some times tables and thanks for putting up with my fun crusade... Cheers Rebecca (founder Starts at 60)
