Hi All, First of all, I just realised what the date is, so YAY. SIX MONTHS now since I stopped smoking. So thankful I kicked the habit. Arrived at the hospital this morning to see Henri, and noticed that he had an oxygen mask over his face, and couldnt understand what was going on. Until he spoke to me. Yup, he is off the ventilator and doing good so far. They have removed the nose plugs, and no longer need to do the gastroscope. He is, however, still receiving intravenous feeding through the nose, but at least he is so much better. Not sure how long he will still be in ICU, but I am sure they will transfer him to the medical ward soon. So thankful. It can only get better from hereon now. :)
