Hi All Just a few helpful reminders. HAAR is closed to the public on Mondays, meaning ,we do not do adoptions on Mondays. We do not show animals or conduct any shelter business on Monday. We are open for volunteers and donation drop offs only. Tuesday-Friday we are open from 2-6 pm, by appt. ONLY. As with any other place of business, we have rules, please respect them. If you just walk in without having been given an appt, please do not be upset or surprised that there may not be someone to help you at that time. Also, please understand that we are all volunteers with families , jobs, pets of our own and sometimes cannot immediately answer your email which is one of 30 or 40 or more emails we receive in a day within minutes of you sending it. We have guidelines and schedules that we follow, please be patient you are not the only one that is inquiring about an animal or other situation. The shelter is a very busy place, and many things are going on during the course of a day, which is why these hours of business are in place. Thank You in advance for your understanding.
