Hi All, My Dad, Albert O. Brownfield, (Lucilles oldest) fell in October and broke his hip. The surgery for his hip went very well but his breathing/oxygen needs have been a different story since he has COPD and has limited lung capacity. After 5 weeks in the hospital he was moved back to the skilled nursing area where he had previously resided in assisted living. He is doing a little better but he is under hospice care and is mostly bedridden. I thought he could use some cards from his Iowa relatives….he thinks of you often.
