Hi All, The results for parkrun #99 have been processed. Thank you to all the volunteers this week. July 5th is onward is looking very light on for vollies so if you havent put your hand up in a while, please do so as it keeps our great event going!! As many may have heard my conversation with a disgruntled walker at the finish about parkrunners keeping left he accused runners of swearing and abusing him. Whilst Im sure that none of our runners would do this, if he does yell at you whilst you are running past, lets just smile, wave and wish him a lovely morning. The first km is fairly narrow so please be mindful of keeping left. If you find yourself needing to overtake runners, try seeding yourself closer to the front at the start or waiting until the path widens. Lets not give this individual any ammunition to complain or yell at us!!! We had a smaller field today of 179 runners as the launch of Carine parkrun attracted a whopping 300 odd runners, but I expect next week to return back to normal.
