Hi All Thinking about starting a legal advise service for low - TopicsExpress

Hi All Thinking about starting a legal advise service for low income earners. It really irks me that low income earners do not have the same access to the law as the Oscar Pretorious that can spend R12 million on legal fees. I also dont want to do work for people but to encourage them to learn about the law by living the process. Just today I was involved in Wills Week, doing a will for a family that had 10 kids, but only one immovable property. I was able to help them figure out how to do it. But I want to do more than just that, I want people to have advise on how to face the system and get results. I want to be able to read contracts and tell people where the pitfalls are. I want to draft contracts for people that are thinking of doing renovations, so that they arent screwed over. I want to draft business contracts so that both parties are equally protected. I want to get people to have the know how to get maintenance. You know, all the general stuff that people need to know but can not afford to ask an attorney, and I want to do it at decent rates, which means not practicing as an attorney, but just as a guys with a lot of legal knowledge. And I want to charge people according to their income. Low income earners get legal advise for R300, including consultation and flow chart of steps to take maybe even the first phone call in urgent matters, like the sheriff wanting to attach, but it goes up the more you earn, if you earn that much, you can see an attorney, I can even recommend you. But for middle class and low earners, there should be an access to legal advise that does not break your back. Let me know what you think?
