Hi All, We have received a call from CAMS asking if our category would be interested in providing a support category for the V8 Supercars scheduled for the 1st-3rd of August 2014 at QR…yes that’s correct the beginning of next month. The brief details (but yet to be confirmed) to hand so far are: 1) We will be allocated garages within the enclosure 2) Entry fee will be $100 3) Practice and qualifying Friday 4) 3 Races over the weekend There are a couple of considerations though: 1) We need to commit to numbers by this Friday PM – yes that’s right we need to know now if you are in or out now 2) We have a PSCRAQ round scheduled at QR just 3 weeks after this event and need to ensure we have enough numbers to guarantee a break-even for the this round Personally I think this is a great opportunity to showcase our category to a larger audience and consequently we will need significant competitor numbers to maximise the exposure.
