Hi All, Yes I would like to attend your 40 year celebration. I have been there from day one establishing & starting underwater hockey in Auckland and throughout New Zealand. The beginning of AUWH was started with the formation of the Bluefins Club (Dick Knight), Reef Combers Club (Dave Moran) and myself with the Pakuranga Underwater Club. We were all invited by Marshall McDonald who came from South Africa and helped us to start this wonderful game we all now play, he returned to South Africa after only a short stay. In the early days Auckland developed to four nights of hockey being played all at the Tepid Baths downtown, we had A, B, C & D Grades, all nights had six teams playing who came from dive clubs throughout Auckland. I do have a lot of history to tell and would like to share it with you all. Im currently responsible for the draws for B & C Grade and enjoy providing this service. Regards Dave Parore
