Hi All, its TBT and IM the Friends FEATURED Westie! My name is now Maggie! I started out in a puppy mill and had lots of babies for them to sell for profit. When I was too old to be of any use to the mill, GLWR offered to take me in and find me a home. I was so very shy and scared. Had I known what was in store for me, I would have been excited!! I was adopted by Lou and Bob, and since then my life has just been a whirlwind of fun and exciting things to do. I have been interviewed on the local TV station and became a celebrity! I get to go biking and kayaking with my mom! And I even have my own life preserver for our boating activities. But my most important job these days is keeping my two Lab brothers in line. You see, they compete in Dock Dog diving competitions, but I stand on the sidelines and coach them along and bark encouragement for them to jump farther. They do very well because they listen to me and I keep them on the straight and narrow. I guess all my years raising little ones has paid off, I know how to tell these big boys to behave!!! I could never have imagined such a great life beyond the cage. Thank you, thank you to all who support rescue and the fight against puppy mills!!! Love you all, Maggie
