Hi All, we thought we might update how our submission is going. This site was started with the sole intention of making Sydney Harbour a Recreational Fishing Haven. We thought initially we would gather support by showing that recreational anglers are enjoying fishing the harbour and that there are some great fish to be caught as evidenced by our subscribers sending in their pics. Behind the scenes there is a dedicated group of people that are moving into the next phase and that is preparing a submission showing why Sydney Harbour should be made into a recreational fishing haven. We hope to share this information with everyone soon, the group is currently working on how many authorities have jurisdiction over the waterway, how many restrictions already exist, how does our current waterway compare with any marine park submission, what level of pollution still exists and where is it safe to catch and consume fish. We are also lobbying government to determine what information they require to convince them to support our cause. Any information our supporters have that can help this cause will be greatly appreciated. It seems we have a very knowledgable brains trust. For our part we hope to be able to share information we have already gathered for our cause.
