Hi Chibi Pa Fans this is Jason, We had a great weekend. We were glad to see so many people show up and enjoy themselves. I am sure that there are people that there are people that are pissed off that this one event did not go the way they wanted. But for the most part the event was fun. The cops were not called and no one left on a stretcher. So BONUS. Now we had said that if Chibi Pa got under a certain number of attendees we would have to stop doing Chibi Pa. We did not reach those numbers. Our attendance dropped all the way to the level of our second show. But luckily for fans we have restructured Chibi Pa. Chibi Pa is on its way to becoming a non profit organization. This will give us a lot of freedom in the future. We now have a Board of directors that will bear the brunt of any losses the event sustains. This will provide us the leeway to keep going even through bad years. My wife and Myself are two of the 5 board members. We will be guiding Chibi Pa into the future. At the staff meeting, Chibi Pa has decided to work harder on our staff. And I have stepped down as Convention Chair of Chibi Pa. Our long term staff member Julie will be taking over the leadership role. In the past she has worked registration and several years as the Event Organizer. She has my full support and I feel she will keep us going for many years. I would like to Announce next years title. We are very excited about it. But this is not my place anymore. Lets let Julie have some limelight. She will be making additional announcements in the near future.
