Hi! Concerned :/ I have never had fleas in the house in 10 years! My FIV cat has never been given a preventative. What is the thought of the group of giving a chemical preventative for FIV compromised cats? What do you use to keep your cat protected?! Rocky is 12 years old and contracted fleas from a visiting pup. I have been using DE (info posted below) on the carpets as well as applied it to his coat. Since this, not sure if the flea bite or use of DE, Rocky has been lethargic. It has been about 4 days. I just made some bone broth ( link posted below) and hoping he with drink some of that as he is also drinking and eating less- but vomiting. :/ He is still getting his Lysine though. We have an appointment with the vet Tuesday. Anyone have experience you can share? Rocky lost her sister about 2 months ago but has healed from that, I believe and now this :/// I am really sorry that I dont post much here- but pop in when I need help. My daughter has Dravet Syndrome and really keeps me hopping! Thanks for all of your help. This group has a wealth of information and very caring FIV parents!
