Hi Dear Friends, God is good all the time! We got a phone at 2:30 Sunday morning. Jims 90 year old mother had fallen and his dad needed us to come and get her up off of the kitchen floor. No mention of any injuries. It takes 45 minutes to get there. Upon arriving we were told that she had lost a lot of blood out of her mouth and was now vomiting up blood. I called 911. She wanted me to clean her up and fix her hair. Not the least bit concerned about what was happening. I rode in the ambulance with her in a driving rain. We got to Zanesville hospital about 5 a.m. They were very efficient and we found out quickly that her throat had so much acid erosion that the fall broke one of the ulcers open and that is where the bleeding came from. They got her into a room and after she was sleeping comfortably we went home. While at church we had prayer for her not knowing that she had to be revived at one point. She had lost so much blood, it put a strain on her heart. When we got back to the hospital she was in the Critical Care Unit. I can not begin to praise all of the staff at Genesis hospital for the excellent care she has received. We have spent the last few nights sleeping in chairs and on couches at the hospital. I am elated to report that she has gradually gotten stronger and miraculously is scheduled to return home tomorrow. Yes, as the preacher said in Gods Not Dead, God is good all the time! We have the gift of more time with her. She was such a sweet patient and a blessing to all who cared for her. Love to you all.
