Hi Dearest Ones~! Wow, oh...wow. We have a spectacular line-up for May...and we couldnt be more pleased. Picking which event is best is impossible~! But I will introduce you to one of the first workshops happening. Meet Charles Fredrick, celebrated pen and ink cartoonist. MAY 7-9... Instruction will be given in the basic components of cartooning. As the class progresses, the student will learn how to create and express ideas through the cartoon media. Emphasis will be placed on the application of perspective, use of shapes to build cartoon characters, and the interjection of facial expressions and body motion to further promote the ideas intended. Charles Fredrick (Holiday Island, Arkansas) For over forty years Charles has had numerous cartoons published in newspapers, magazines, and advertising pieces. Through juried art fairs, he created and sold many children themed cartoons and pen and ink renderings.
