Hi Dears, Im done with the basic processing of these images taken yesterday: Without focal reducer: M27 (Dumbbell Nebula): Telescope Celestron C11, 10 shoots, 30s, 1600 ISO, CANON EOS 450D modified (Astrodon Inside), F/D=10 M57 (Ring Nebula): Telescope Celestron C11, 9 shoots, 30s, 1600 ISO, CANON EOS 450D modified (Astrodon Inside), F/D=10 With focal reducer: M33 (Triangulum Galaxy): Telescope Celestron C11, 14 shoots, 60s, 1600 ISO, CANON EOS 450D modified (Astrodon Inside), F/D=6.3 For all these images, there was no guiding (just the basic tracking by the mount). I forgot my gears for the Flat-Field frame, so without Flat-Field it is very difficult to clean the image without destroying some useful signal. M33 is made with the focal reducer, so the lack of Flat-Field is deadly :-( . Besides, I should increase the exposure time for Triangulum, but without guiding the result would be very bad. Next step: GUIDING!!! Dont forget: FLAT-FIELD !!!!!! And.... Check the collimation at the begining of the night, and double-check during the session!! See you soon,
