Hi Everyone - Believe it or not but yes we are talking about opening day. If that was winter we have just been through then we have got off lightly. (so far). Tennis season (interclub) starts from October 14, but we are kicking off with opening day on September 15th and club nights each Thursday from then on untill competitions start. The Hope Tennis Club AGM meeting will be held on opening day at 3pm (after afternoon tea). This year we are looking for a new Treasurer as Hilary Pitcher is standing down after 6 years in the position. I take this time to thank her for the fantastic job she has done and say she will be greatly missed by the committee. CLUB TREASURER - If you would like to help out and join an active and fun committee, then please consider applying for this position. The club does not run itself and it is only through volunteers that want to put a bit back into the club that we are able to have a highly rated Tennis club.
