Hi Everyone, I was thinking last night about habits. We all - TopicsExpress

Hi Everyone, I was thinking last night about habits. We all have them. Some are good habits, but others are not. Habit: an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary: the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street. Something to think about… Hebrew 10:23- 25 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. …forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some… The Christian life is to be lived together with brothers and sisters in the Lord, for we are part of the body of Christ. We are dependent upon one another. So if you are a Christian ,you might not be able to join us at Koinonia, but I believe you need to be part of a fellowship of believers WEEKLY somewhere. The habit should be ‘assembling together’, to encourage and to be encouraged to love one another and good deeds. I’m not saying it is easy, but It needs to be a priority. Coming to church should be a ‘habit’ of a Christian. Sunday September 8th will continue the series in Ephesians. We encourage you to read Chapter 4 this week. There will an opportunity to share how this text has spoken to you. Upcoming Event is ‘Welcome to Aalborg” Saturday Sept. 14. If you meet any ‘new’ internationals invite them… Remember to pray for one another. God bless Lee Thoughts from last weeks text, Ephesians 3 To know something beyond our comprehension Vrs. 14-19 – Paul’s prayer: When I think of the greatness of this great plan I fall on my knees before God the Father (from whom all fatherhood, earthly or heavenly, derives its name), and I pray that out of the glorious richness of his resources he will enable you to know the strength of the spirit’s inner re-inforcement—that Christ may actually live in your hearts by your faith. And I pray that you, firmly fixed in love yourselves, may be able to grasp (with all Christians) how wide and deep and long and high is the love of Christ—and to know for yourselves that love so far beyond our comprehension. May you be filled though all your being with God himself! J.B. Phillips
