Hi Everyone, heres just an update on festival preparations and also a reminder for those of you that haven’t booked yet for Twinwood Festival 2014. The discounted price ends at the end of this month. Tickets are selling faster than in previous years and we expect to put up the “Sold Out” signs earlier this year! The amazing Electric Swing Circus will be performing there along with favourites Still Moving DJs and The Lamours. The Glade becomes even more Gypsy Jazz and Hot Club, and along with Le Café de Bois Jumeau our association with Le Quecumbar of London means you’ll experience some great period French music from the 30s and 40s as well as authentic French food! Terry Elliott moves his Late Nite Lounge to the larger Tin Hat Club (so that should keep all you night owl swing dancers happy) and his former venue now becomes the late night Soul Shack. Finally, the first Miss Vintage UK and Mr Vintage UK which takes place in The Colonial Club on the Sunday promises to be great fun and we’re all looking forward to see Marcella Puppini of the Puppini Sisters giving out the prizes.
