Hi FB family...I just wanna again say thank you to you ALL for the kind words last night and the prayers that went up to the Lord on behalf of my college friend and brother Myron Burney...I am a strong believer that prayer works! I also received a phone call late last night from my Spelman Sister....who too was close to Myron...and she and I stayed on the phone for hours reflecting about the great light and life he brought to ours...my Spelman sister kept having me only reflect upon the funny and happy memories she and I both shared with Myron while attending college! Now I truly and genuinely understand the brother and sister tradition we have had at Morehouse and Spelman College which has existed for years among the two schools. In times like these that very tradition served a great purpose. Hence, I am forever loyal! I also want to specifically thank ALL the intellectual brothers of Morehouse College who articulated and offered powerful, meaningful, profound words of comfort and enlightenment to this matter...I havent been so so so inspired by my Morehouse Brothers since sitting in classes with you guys and the reasoning and rationale and responses alone have fueled a fire inside me that has been stewing and simmering for a looong time...so watch out...and see my light of life reflect upon others in service to others...so to the Morehouse Men around the world...thank YOU for the uplifting words and inspiration...my brothers! Myrons life and passing will continue to reflect upon me and my ongoing journey of excellence in serving others and in making this world a better place which is what HE stood for.....with a big contagious smile he always had no matter what..! So I bid you PEACE in the MIDDLE EAST..til next time! #RIPMYRONBURNEY
