Hi FB friends, help! Need some advice about a puppy. We acquired a 5 month old puppy over a month ago. Yep, husband and girls brought her home from a shelter and is of unknown origin, but looks exactly like a dingo. She is sweet as can be, but crazy wild. Sent her to doggie boot camp for a week to get trained and was reintroduced tonight. The trainer who was recommended to us by three people said that she was hands down one of the most untrainable dogs he has ever met in his 8 years. Said she was like a wild dog and compared her to a coyote hybrid and a wolf hybrid. Said that if we wanted to try again with another dog he would train the new dog for free and said this dog is going to make life miserable. My girls are so attached to her now. Would I be the meanest mom ever if I tried again with another dog and found her a place where she could run free? I dont know if the kids would ever forgive me. Would I be giving up too early? Completely tormented. Caleb and Tyler, you guys are dog people... help!
