Hi Facebook friends! A few months ago I posted some info about a trip in which I will be traveling to Nicaragua. The trip is with an organization called Global Medical Brigade - a student led organization that sends students around the world to help in various areas of need. With a group of peers from Philadelphia University, I will be volunteering alongside and assisting medical professionals in a Nicaraguan clinic. The medical need in Nicaragua is more than most of us can imagine. For the people living in these areas of the country, the medical care Global Medical Brigades provides may be the only medical care they have seen in months or even years.. this organization not only provides medical care, but creates a sustainable medical treatment option for this area of Nicaragua.
