Hi Family, You know, the mark, better yet, manifestation of a true apostle is the ability to impart in depth knowledge of the Man Christ Jesus. The mantle in full effect makes Him appealing and sensible. To be under a quality apostle is to live in the face of Jesus, not just as Savior but mostly as King. After all, our Lord became a Savior long after He lived for eons as a King. Thus, kingship is His first office. I am on this subject because I spent last night working on my latest training course. I have been training my team on an apostles commission. Revisiting the ministrys most fundamental meanings reminded me that it is all about the King, which is why so many people in this calling cannot get away from His kingship. One reference I studied put it like this. It said Apostles of Christ were His officers and not the churchs officials. The Lords apostles bring and keep His churches and everything pertaining to them under Jesus domain. Whichever side of the subject you stand on, the point of the discussion is this. Our duty is to make you as familiar and comfortable with the Lord as your King as you are with Him as your Savior. Here is why. The Savior keeps your soul, the King conquers your world. The Savior protects your home, the King prospers your hands. The Savior nurses your wounds, the King wins your wars. The Savior succors your weaknesses, the King slays your enemies. Lastly, the Savior secures your covenant, the King seizes your portion of it. Jesus as our High Priest welcomes and settles you in His ecclesia. Jesus King of kings helps and exalts you in the world. We need all sides of Him folks. We need Him to shepherd our souls and our sustenance. So what should you take away from this post? You should walk away cherishing His sovereignty as much as you do His redemption. You should not fear His it will deprive you and not triumph for you. Once Christ saves you from your latest or next ordeal, you need His indomitable royalty to override evil and keep you safe and thriving. Yes, the Savior side of Him purges your sin and delivers you from your faults and flaws. But it is the King side of Him that defends and delivers you victory in this world. The Savior holds you close, but the King holds back the gates of hell against you. On earth you need both. You need as intimate a knowledge of Jesus kingship over the earth as you do of His role in the church if you want to benefit fully from your salvation.
