Hi Fellow Hooders and Friends, We are very excited to announce and cordially invite you to the first annual Green & White in Central Park next Saturday, June 7th @ Great Lawn Ball field #1. The first event will entail a softball game and a post-game cocktail hour. Weather permitting, we will start playing at 3:30pm, but please feel free to show up whenever and bring along friends. Given the short notice (sorry), we are really hoping to get enough people together for a game, enjoy ourselves, and provide some funds to benefit the Sun of Victory Foundation. Over time though, it is our broader goal to expand the event to include additional G&W activities with the hope of providing a substantial yearly donation to the Sun of Victory Foundation. Now for the fun part, given this is a fundraising event… the suggested donation is $25 and will get you beverages and cover the field permit cost.
