Hi Folks, Im new to this page, but was pointed in your direction due to your discerning tastes. I am VERY reluctantly offering for sale my Ceil Chapman dress. This is an absolute stunner and obviously one of a kind. Ceil Chapman was designer to Hollywood stars, her clientele included Elizabeth Taylor and was rumoured to be Marilyn Monroes favourite designer. I bought this dress from the States 4 years ago, and unfortunately doesnt fit my bust and never will. I have always intended to keep it anyway, but it seems such a shame for someone not to enjoy it. Being as old as it is, it does however have a few flaws, there is slight holes under the arm but could easily be stitched and hidden with the bust shelf detail, which needs re-attaching slightly, and in one place on the skirt there is 2 tiny pin sized holes, which do not show. I would be looking at offers around £500, Not cheap I know but due to its heritage, totally worth it and an investment piece.
