Hi Gang! Im taking the rest of the year off. ;) Ive said it before and ill say it again : each and every one of you - the over 10,700 people who follow the MattCast : are the reason I am here - You are the reason I do this, and you are the reason that I am on Fox CT every day. I owe all of you my faith, support, and friendship for that. 2014 was an amazing year - filled with new friends, new loves, new challenges, and new beginnings. I cant remember a year that I enjoyed and loved as much as this one. I hope you feel the same way - even with all of the sadness in the world, and hopefully limited sadness in your lives (and mine too. I had plenty!) - I was able to see the good in people, the good in the world, and the good in me. And thats a big lesson to accomplish. Make that a MattCast challenge for 2015 - See the good in the world, in people, in things. And even if something isnt completely right, know that theres a reason for it. Im not a very religious man, but I know that God sometimes puts us in valleys so that we can climb, reach, and appreciate the summits. Sometimes when were in the valley, we forget that the summit is close by...and I promise you - it is. Happy 2015. My love and friendship to you all. Matt Scott
