Hi Guys!. I believe there has been a bit of bad mouthing about me recently on some of the radio groups by a single individual. This bad mouthing stems from a radio I was asked to repair. The radio was a TS-840.. The PA trannys had been replaced and I asked the owner at the time it was in for repair if he would like it Serviced / Aligned. He could not afford the repair and the service together (at an extra £40 standard HF set Charge) even though it REALLY needed it.. So only the finals were replaced and the bias was done and checked. The radio was then delivered back to the owner after payment and the owner seemed happy with that. What the owner decides to do with the radio afterwards is his concern. This statement has been made as I feel quite strongly that the individual who is bad mouthing me needs to be aware of the facts before he opens his mouth. Thanks for your time guys. James M1APC
