Hi Guys, I feel compelled to post this.... A vendor falsely bad - TopicsExpress

Hi Guys, I feel compelled to post this.... A vendor falsely bad mouthing another vendor, especially to event organisers and especially pre event, should not be tolerated by anyone in the industry. This is the lowest of low acts and can directly effect the reputation of a business. Most of us feed our families and pay our bills through our mobile food businesses and we all know how much time and effort goes into running a mobile food biz. My advice to anyone starting out in the industry is: all vendors should try and get along if not be friends, most def not enemies. Its us (the vendors) versus them (everyone not a vendor)....lol. If an event is over catered its never a vendors fault! Its the sole responsibility of event organisers to limit stalls, and especially to not have multiples unless the numbers of patrons are going to be very high. No successful business was ever built by dragging another businesses down. Improve your own business by working on it, making it better, trying new things and delivering a better service/product. If its not working for you then look at what YOU are doing (or not doing). Theres already lots of competition in our industry and its only going to get worse. So if you want to survive, or to hopefully become successful at some stage, spend all your time and energy on your own thing and certainly DO NOT bad mouth other vendors! ** I have purposely withheld naming anyone or describing the event in question ** Happy New Year to all you Foodies and Stallholders! Lets all hope 2015 is a ripper year.
