Hi I am new but had a Q? I had some fairly minor damage to my 2007 Nomad recently from a low speed spill - scratches and small dent in tank - scratched headlight chrome , scratch on shield. This happened in front of my house on a patch of sand. Bruised my ego anyway. I was going to sell anyway at end of season as not riding much so I put in a claim for damage repair. Much to my surprise they totalled by bike ! I was not expecting that. Is that common? They also gave me option to keep bike for salvage value. I might keep the bike just to keep riding a bit longer - then sell it for value with salvage title. Do you think someone would pay $3,500 ish for my 2007 Nomad with just over 8,000 miles ? Runs and drives perfect - cosmetic issues really and not major at that.
