Hi I would like to remain anon. I have been with my boyfriend since I was 17 now 32 and it has been great lately but getting to this point wasnt easy. The point is after all he has put me through cheating verbal abuse I Dont think I love him anymore I just Dont look at him the same. it more of a look of disgust. He has taken anger management to understand his actions. It has been pure hell for me & our kids seeing this. My question how do I tell him that I just cant pretend to be happy with him any more that he has done to much or how do I learn to forgive him. Im on Facebook but my email isnt connected. Thanks in advance for your help. MY RESPONSE: If your love is gone, it is gone. You have put up with him for 15 long years. The thing that stands out is you saying that both you and your children have been through pure hell because of him. Your children will only have one childhood. If you cannot do it for yourself, do it to give them a better quality of life. While I can understand his feelings having some kind of significance to you, you cannot put his happiness above yours and that of your kids. I have seen women doing this. I know someone doing this right now and it is sad to see her put up with so much over a man and allow her kids to suffer. Pray on it but I feel like you already know what you need to do.
