Hi Infiniti, I just wanted to comment about my experience - TopicsExpress

Hi Infiniti, I just wanted to comment about my experience owning a 2011 Infiniti M56S. The car looks great and has tons of power. I shopped the BMW 550I, Mercedes E550, and the Audi A7. Ultimately what convinced me to go with your product was the perceived reputation of reliability and cost of ownership. I have owned a Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti G35 in the past and the Infiniti proved to be the most reliable cars Ive ever owned. Granted I dont get quite the name recognition as the German Makes but it was worth the trade off. With all that being said, here is my problem. My car developed problems out of nowhere all in 2 months time. First is the fact the car will stall upon start up. My dealership told me that could just be an inherited trait of the vehicle. So I guess that means were back to the good ole carburetor days?? Give it a little gas on start up to keep it running? NOT AN ACCEPTABLE ANSWER. Second issue... The steering system is now malfunctioning just 7,000 miles out of warranty. Im told that just the part alone is $2,000. Ive tried to talk to my Service Director at the dealership level to see if he could any help from his Infiniti Rep and the Good Will Funds to keep a customer happy? He told me that the Infiniti Rep wouldnt budge. Im not looking for anything free but the fact the Rep cares nothing about customer service angers me. Whats funny (but not) is the fact that the Service Director informed me that I was the 3rd M56 to come in with that issue within 3 weeks. The fact that this car is not a high volume car but is coming in the same issue seems odd. Sounds like an Infiniti problem. Third Problem... All while getting an oil change and the first two issues being diagnosed. Apparently the front left strut is leaking and needs to be replaced. This repair alone is $600. So I have a car with an of MSRP $+65,000 that as soon as its out of warranty will cost me over $3,000 in repairs, barely 4 model years old, and stalls like an old fashion car that Im told just to deal with. I really hope that Infinitis customers service proves me wrong this time. At 31 I have a lot of purchase potential ahead of me. Infiniti has an opportunity to keep me as a customer but not if I keep experiencing the lack of customer service Ive gotten. If not, I guess I can move on to Lexus, or purchase one of the German Makes and just sell before the warranty expires.... PS... This car has an impeccable maintenance history of every 3,000-4,000 miles at the dealership so no one can blame it on neglect. The video is attached of the vehicle stalling multiple times.
